about me…
I’m a multi-faceted AAPI actress, singer, and producer with over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry. My work has appeared in primetime episodic television, streaming series, and films. On stage, I've had the privilege of performing off-Broadway, as well as nationally, and at some incredible New York City venues like City Center, Lincoln Center, Playwrights Horizons, and The York Theatre, among others.
As a storyteller, I’m deeply passionate about bringing narratives to life that include marginalized voices—voices that I didn’t often see represented growing up as an Asian American in a small town in New England. This experience has fueled my desire to make sure those stories are heard and included in the conversation.
In addition to my creative work, I’m committed to empowering others in their artistic journeys. Over the years, I’ve developed a variety of programs designed to help people reach their highest artistic potential, including On Camera Workshops, Scene Study, Audition Technique, Play & Screenplay Reading Series, Writers Forum, Short Filmmaking Intensive, and Dance for Actors. These programs bring together a diverse group of artists, all dedicated to improving their craft and creating their own opportunities. Through these efforts, I’ve had the pleasure of producing several short films, including *OVER-THRONE*, which won the Top 50 Best of the Fest Award at the Asian American Film Lab’s 72-Hour Shootout in 2020.
Beyond the arts, I’ve also worked for The Estée Lauder Companies (ELC), a leader in prestige beauty, where I’ve been able to combine my passion for makeup and skincare with a deep understanding of business operations. I love sharing tips about skincare and the importance of a daily routine—especially sunscreen—as part of self-care.
I believe strongly in giving back to the community, and that’s why I’m so proud of my charitable work with Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. I’ve organized several benefit concerts and fundraising events in their honor. For the past several years, I’ve also had the honor of serving as Front of House Manager for Broadway Inspirational Voices, an organization committed to supporting and strengthening communities in need. Additionally, I was recently appointed to serve on the National Asian Pacific American Media Committee and the National SAGIndie Committee of SAG-AFTRA, where I hope to continue advocating for greater representation and inclusion in our industry.
